Whale sharks

Despite having shark in it's name, Whale sharks are actually filter feeders thought they do sometimes eat small fish and squid but their diet is mostly krill and plankton.

They are the biggest fish in the world, being able to get 40 feet in length.

Lionfish

Red and white striped lionfish

Lionfish are originally from the Indo-Pacific but due to American aquariums buying them and eventually dumping them when they aren't wanted anymore, they've become an invasive spieces in the Caribbean sea. To help get rid of them, people have began to hunt them and you can also buy them and cook them.

Lionfish aren't poisonous but rather venomous, and it's only on the spines! So, if you don't touch the spines you'll be completely fine.

Hammerhead Shark

Hammerhead swimming alone

Even thought it looks kinda funny, the headshape of the hammerhead actually gives it better depth perception.

Unlike other sharks, they swim in schools for most of the day and hunt alone at night.

Sawfish

Even thought they look like sharks, Sawfish are actually rays.

Unfortunately, all species of Sawfish are either endangered or critically endangered. They are being hunted for their fins, teeth, and their saw.
